Jedea Cook is a private chef based in New York City originally from McDonough, Georgia. She moved to the city for culinary school to earn her Culinary Arts Degree from the Institute of Culinary Education. She planned to return to her home in the South following school, but God had bigger and better plans for the call on her life. She continues furthering her career and making New York City her home.

She started Your Seat at the Table with the support of her family. She was eager to take her experience as a line cook, recipe developer, and culinary student to another level. She shares her love for the beauty of food while doing it for the Glory of Jesus Christ. 

 

Chef Jedea Cook believes that cooking connects all people regardless of their differences. Food should be more than just a "bite to eat," but an experience.
